Course Length: ALL DAY

Recommended for: Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, Radiologic Technologist, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Dentist, Pharmacist, and Medical Personnel

Book Required!

All Students must have a current book - AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Manual (2020 CPR & ECC Guidelines). This book is REQUIRED for the class. You can do one of the following: 1) Purchase book from CPRescuer during online class enrollment; 2) Purchase book from CPRescuer during check-in for class; 3) Bring current book to class if you have one. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, then you do not need to purchase one at registration.

Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required!

All Students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Students must print and bring Score Report and Certificate of Completion to class.

Course Overview: The AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is intended for healthcare workers who direct or participate during the resuscitation of a patient. The course emphasizes the importance of good CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communications during resuscitation.

Course Content:

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Airway Management

  • ACLS Pharmacology

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) review

  • Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke

  • How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

Continuing Education (CE) Available! $10

CE available to Dentist (DDS or DMD), Dental Assistant (RDA), Dental Hygienist (RDH), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic (Medic), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech), Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Physician Assistant (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Respiratory Therapist (RT), Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician (MD or DO), and Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
